RFID Journal Live! 2011
Nordic ID Sales Manager Hielke van Oostrum was at RFID Journal Live! 2011 in Amsterdam, the
Netherlands, meeting many end-customers and partners.
There were several interesting new UHF tag technologies on show
as well as interesting system developments. RFID Journal is
turning more into a conference and networking opportunity then an
old-school tradeshow. Multiple speakers kindly mentioned their
great experience with Nordic ID Merlin and Nordic ID
Morphic! Their presentations will be available soon on the
RFID Journal website.
SMAU Milan 2011
Our Sales Manager, Wendy VInk, is at SMAU
Milan presenting our new products: Nordic ID Morphic UHF
RFID Cross Dipole, Nordic ID Sampo S1 and the Nordic ID Merlin UHF
RFID 500mW. She is available for demonstration of the new products
and for discussing your specific RFID needs.
RFID conferance in
Autepra and their partners are organizing a conference about
RFID technology in Tallinn - "RFID tungib meie ellu!". The
conference will be held on the 27th of October and Tomi Lundström
from Nordic ID Support will be there to present our RFID mobile
computers and fixed readers, as well as a few case studies: Martela - Furniture inventory in a few seconds with
RFID, Container Centralen - RFID
optimizes horicultural logistics and Aifos Solutions -
RFID for blood bank tracking.
The presenters will answer all attendants' questions. At the end
of conference discussions will be held at the mini-booths with
sample equipment demonstrations. Register to the

Sales Manager, Mika Hirvonen, and, Russian Export
Expert, Taina Kalintiv, are invited to Rusnanotech 2011 in Moscow,
Russia on the 26th - 28th of October. The Forum will host a
presentation "Future Store" - a new
retail format that incorporates time and cost saving RFID - created
jointly by RUSNANO, X5 Retail Group N.V. and JSC Sitronics.
Container Centralen Says RFID
Provides 'Substantial' Cost Savings
Centralen uses Nordic ID PL 3000 mobile RFID computers to
identify each trolley moved into its facilities. RFID technology is
also being used to automate the paperwork necessary when shipments
are transported between its depots. With the help of the Nordic ID
devices and an application developed by Mieloo & Alexander - an
RFID integrator and a partner of Nordic ID - a "substantial" cost
savings with improved logistics efficiency and depot administration
has been achieved.
